The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the La Salle Lancers (Pasadena, CA) and the visiting St. Anthony Saints (Long Beach, CA), saw La Salle's volleyball squad nip St. Anthony by a tally of 3-2.

With the win, La Salle upgrades its record to 4-9 on the year. The Lancers travel to Cathedral (Los Angeles, CA) to play the Phantoms in a Del Rey bout on Tuesday, March 22. The Phantoms go into the bout with a record of 6-4. Cathedral lost 1-0 in their recent non-league bout against South (Torrance, CA)

The Saints now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to Eagle Rock for a non-league bout on Saturday, March 19. St. Anthony will play a Eagles squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Wilson (Los Angeles, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 14-3.
