In Thursday's league contest, the Nevada Union Miners (Grass Valley, CA) volleyball squad were winner over the visiting Rio Linda Knights (Rio Linda, CA), by a margin of 3-0.
Next up, the Miners battle the Del Oro Golden Eagles (Loomis, CA) in a Sierra Foothill League contest, on Friday, March 18. Nevada Union will attempt to better on its 10-2 season record. The Golden Eagles go into the contest with a 2-4 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Rocklin (Rocklin, CA).
