The crowd at Thursday's non-league test between the East Duplin Panthers (Beulaville, NC) and the host Swansboro Pirates (Swansboro, NC), saw East Duplin's soccer squad get by Swansboro by a count of 2-1.
The Panthers now hold a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Dixon for a non-league test on Friday, March 18. East Duplin will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 1-0 non-league win over Pender (Burgaw, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-2.
With the loss, Swansboro drops to 1-2 on the season. The Pirates travel to Jacksonville (Jacksonville, NC) to meet the Cardinals in a non-league test on Monday, March 21. The Cardinals come into the test with a record of 0-1. Jacksonville lost 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Laney (Wilmington, NC)
