The Charlotte Catholic Cougars lacrosse team scored 18 points and held the visiting South Mecklenburg Sabres to 3 in the Cougars league win on Thursday.

The Cougars (5-1) will now prepare for their match against Sacred Heart (Louisville, KY). The Valkyries go into the non-league match with a 4-0 record. In their last match, Sacred Heart prevailed over Marvin Ridge (Waxhaw, NC), 15-8, in a non-league match.
