In Thursday's league battle, the visiting Pierce County Bears soccer squad scored a good 10-0 triumph over the Brantley County Herons.
The Bears (9-1) will now prepare for their battle against Long County (Ludowici, GA). The Blue Tide come into the AAA Region 1 battle with a 3-8 record. In their last battle, Long County was overwhelmed by Appling County (Baxley, GA), 2-1, in a league battle.
The Herons (3-9) will now prepare for their battle against Tattnall County (Reidsville, GA). The Warriors come into the AAA Region 1 battle with a 3-7 record. In their last battle, Tattnall County was overwhelmed by Pierce County (Blackshear, GA), 6-0, in a league battle.
