In Thursday's league battle, the host Yorktown Patriots soccer squad scored a close 5-0 win over the Oakton Cougars.
The Patriots (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against Chantilly (Chantilly, VA). The Chargers go into the Concorde battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, Chantilly was overwhelmed by Edison (Alexandria, VA), 1-0, in a non-league battle.
The Cougars (0-1) will now prepare for their battle against Falls Church (Falls Church, VA). The Jaguars go into the non-league battle with a 0-1 record.
