The Pioneer Mustangs baseball team scored 8 runs and limited the visiting Menlo-Atherton Bears to 0 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Thursday.
The Mustangs (2-4) will now prepare for their match against Los Altos (Los Altos, CA). The Eagles go into the non-league match with a 0-2 record. In their last match, Los Altos was overwhelmed by Branham (San Jose, CA), 3-2, in a non-league match.
The Bears (3-5) will now prepare for their match against Palo Alto (Palo Alto, CA). The Vikings go into the non-league match with a 5-3 record. In their last match, Palo Alto gained a win over Homestead (Cupertino, CA), 5-2, in a league match.
