Bolsa Grande Matadors (Garden Grove, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Los Amigos Lobos (Fountain Valley, CA), 18-10 in a league challenge.
The Matadors now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Loara for a challenge on Thursday, March 31.
With the loss, Los Amigos falls to 0-4 on the campaign. The Lobos host Santa Ana Valley (Santa Ana, CA) to battle the Falcons in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 22. The Falcons enter the challenge with a record of 0-1.
