Blacksburg Bruins (Blacksburg, VA) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad achieve victory over the host Byrd Terriers (Vinton, VA), 9-4 in a non-league battle.
The Bruins now have a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Jefferson Forest for a non-league battle on Thursday, March 24.
In their next game, the Terriers clash with the Christiansburg Blue Demons (Christiansburg, VA) in a non-league battle, on Monday, March 21. Byrd will attempt to move on its 0-3 season record. The Blue Demons come into the battle with a 0-4 record after their 19-1 league loss to Cave Spring (Roanoke, VA).
