Model Blue Devils (Rome, GA) fans were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Dade County Wolverines (Trenton, GA), 8-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Blue Devils confront the Trion Bulldogs (Trion, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, March 18. Model will attempt to better on its 6-3 season record. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a 5-1 record after their 1-0 non-league win over Cedartown (Cedartown, GA).

The Wolverines now have a 1-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fannin County for a AA Region 7 challenge on Tuesday, March 22. Dade County will confront a Rebels team coming off a 6-0 league loss to Gordon Central (Calhoun, GA). The Rebels record now stands at 1-6.
