The crowd at Thursday's non-league match between the La Cueva Bears (Albuquerque, NM) and the visiting Atrisco Heritage Academy Jaguars (Albuquerque, NM), saw La Cueva's softball squad nip Atrisco Heritage Academy by a count of 9-8.
The Bears now sport a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cleveland for a non-league match on Friday, March 18. La Cueva will face a Storm squad coming off a 9-1 non-league win over Manzano (Albuquerque, NM). The Storm record now stands at 9-2.
