Brewer Patriots (Somerville, AL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host East Limestone Indians (Athens, AL), 17-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Patriots now own a 7-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to East Lawrence for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 18. Brewer will battle a Eagles squad coming off a 22-12 non-league win over Tharptown (Russellville, AL). The Eagles record now stands at 6-7.

With the loss, East Limestone falls to 3-4 on the campaign. The Indians travel to East Lawrence (Trinity, AL) to battle the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 18.
