Marion County Red Raiders (Guin, AL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Brilliant Tigers (Brilliant, AL), 14-3 in a league challenge.
The Red Raiders now own a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lamar County for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 22.
With the loss, Brilliant falls to 1-12 on the campaign. The Tigers host Winfield (Winfield, AL) to battle the Pirates in a non-league challenge on Monday, March 28. The Pirates enter the challenge with a record of 6-1.
