Kentucky High School Softball - Christian County bounces Logan County

March 17, 2022: Russellville, KY 42276

Christian County Colonels (Hopkinsville, KY) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Logan County Cougars (Russellville, KY), 6-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Colonels now sport a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Breckinridge County for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 19. Christian County will face a Fighting Tigers squad coming off a 13-4 non-league loss to Bullitt East (Mt. Washington, KY). The Fighting Tigers record now stands at 0-1.

With the loss, Logan County falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Cougars host South Warren (Bowling Green, KY) to face the Spartans in a non-league challenge on Monday, March 21. The Spartans enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.

Christian County

Congratulations to #8 Avery Adcock for being selected the Christian County Softball Player of the Game.
