Princeton Bulldogs (Princeton, NC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Eastern Wayne Warriors (Goldsboro, NC), 17-0 in a league challenge.

The Bulldogs now own a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they host North Duplin for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 18. Princeton will battle a Rebels squad coming off a 19-5 non-league win over Hobbton (Newton Grove, NC). The Rebels record now stands at 2-2.

With the loss, Eastern Wayne falls to 2-4 on the campaign. The Warriors host Spring Creek (Seven Springs, NC) to battle the Gators in a Neuse Six 2A challenge on Tuesday, March 22. The Gators enter the challenge with a record of 3-3. Spring Creek lost 8-3 in their recent league challenge against North Johnston (Kenly, NC)
