Pleasant Valley Raiders (Jacksonville, AL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Glencoe Yellowjackets (Glencoe, AL), 10-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Raiders now sport a 10-5 record. They take the field next when they host Piedmont for a 3A Area 11 challenge on Tuesday, March 29. Pleasant Valley will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 14-7 league win over Weaver (Weaver, AL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-3.

With the loss, Glencoe falls to 8-2 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets travel to Hokes Bluff (Hokes Bluff, AL) to face the Eagles in a 3A Area 12 challenge on Tuesday, March 22. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 1-5.
