North Carolina High School Softball - Manteo Holmes

In Thursday's league contest, the Holmes Aces (Edenton, NC) softball team the host Manteo Redskins (Manteo, NC), by a margin of 6-3.

With the triumph, Holmes moves its record to 3-4 on the year. The Aces host Riverside-Martin (Williamston, NC) to play the Knights in a non-league contest on Thursday, March 24. The Knights come into the contest with a record of 4-2.

In their next game, the Redskins play the First Flight Nighthawks (Kill Devil Hills, NC) in a Northeastern Coastal 2A/3A contest, on Tuesday, March 22. Manteo will attempt to move on its 3-4 season record. The Nighthawks come into the contest with a 1-2 record after their 5-0 non-league loss to Bear Grass Charter (Williamston, NC).
