Wall Hawks (Wall, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Jim Ned Indians (Tuscola, TX), 15-13 in a league challenge.

The Hawks now own a 13-5 record. They take the field next when they host Clyde for a 3A Region I District 6 challenge on Tuesday, March 22. Wall will battle a Bulldogs squad coming off a 17-0 league win over San Angelo Texas Leadership Charter Academy (San Angelo, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 12-3.

With the loss, Jim Ned falls to 11-6 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Merkel (Merkel, TX) to battle the Badgers in a 3A Region I District 6 challenge on Tuesday, March 22. The Badgers enter the challenge with a record of 7-0. Merkel won 16-0 in their recent league challenge against Wall (Wall, TX)
