The Salado Eagles the visiting Lampasas Badgers softball squad by a final score of 10-8 in Thursday's non-league battle.

The Eagles (13-5) will now prepare for their battle against Lake Belton (Temple, TX). The Broncos go into the 4A Region III District 19 battle with a 9-3 record. In their last battle, Lake Belton nudged Gateway College Preparatory (Georgetown, TX), 10-0, in a league battle.

The Badgers now possess a 3-7 record. They play next when they travel to Brownwood for a 4A Region I District 6 battle on Tuesday, April 12.
