The crowd at Thursday's non-league match between the Moapa Valley Pirates (Overton, NV) and the visiting Sports Leadership & Management Bulls (Henderson, NV), saw Moapa Valley's softball squad nip Sports Leadership & Management by a count of 4-3.

The Pirates now sport a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Desert Pines for a 3A South - Desert match on Monday, March 21. Moapa Valley will face a Jaguars squad coming off a 15-4 league loss to Virgin Valley (Mesquite, NV). The Jaguars record now stands at 2-3.

With the loss, Sports Leadership & Management falls to 3-6 on the campaign. The Bulls travel to The Meadows School (Las Vegas, NV) to face the Mustangs in a non-league match on Monday, March 21. The Mustangs enter the match with a record of 2-4. The Meadows School lost 14-1 in their recent non-league match against Bonneville (Washington Terrace, UT)
