The Andrew Jackson Volunteers baseball team scored 15 runs and limited the host Central Eagles to 0 in the Volunteers league victory on Friday.
The Volunteers (6-1) will now prepare for their match against North Central (Kershaw, SC). The Knights go into the 2A Region 5 match with a 2-1 record. In their last match, North Central ran past Chesterfield (Chesterfield, SC), 14-5, in a league match.
The Eagles (2-2) will now prepare for their match against Chesterfield (Chesterfield, SC). The Golden Rams go into the 2A Region 5 match with a 4-5 record. In their last match, Chesterfield was overwhelmed by Buford (Lancaster, SC), 11-1, in a league match.
