Georgia High School Baseball - Clinch County edged by Lanier County

The Lanier County Bulldogs got by the host Clinch County Panthers baseball team by a count of 7-6 in Friday's league bout.

The Bulldogs now possess a 9-4 record. They take the field next when they host Charlton County for a 1A D-II Area 2 bout on Tuesday, March 21. Lanier County will face a Indians team coming off a 12-0 league win over Turner County (Ashburn, GA). The Indians record now stands at 10-2.

Next, the Panthers face the Atkinson County Rebels (Pearson, GA) in a 1A D-II Area 2 bout, on Tuesday, March 21. Clinch County will attempt to move on its 9-6 season record. The Rebels enter the bout with a 2-11 record after their 14-11 league loss to Echols County (Statenville, GA).
