California High School Baseball - Villa Park sneaks past Foothill

Spectators at Friday's league battle between the Villa Park Spartans (Villa Park, CA) and the visiting Foothill Knights (Santa Ana, CA), saw Villa Park's baseball squad edge Foothill by a count of 3-2.

Coming up next, the Spartans play the El Dorado Golden Hawks (Placentia, CA) in a Crestview battle, on Thursday, March 23. Villa Park will attempt to move on its 8-1 season record. The Golden Hawks enter the battle with a 7-5 record after their 12-6 league win over El Modena (Orange, CA).

The Knights now possess a 6-4 record. They take the field next when they host Brea Olinda for a non-league battle on Monday, March 20. Foothill will play a Wildcats squad coming off a 5-4 league loss to Esperanza (Anaheim, CA). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-4.
