The Wakeland Wolverines baseball team (Frisco, TX), was overwhelmed 8-4 in Friday's league outing with the host Lone Star Rangers (Frisco, TX)

The Rangers now hold a 8-7 record. They take the field next when they host Reedy for a 5A Region II District 9 outing on Tuesday, March 21. Lone Star will face a Lions team coming off a 12-0 league win over Newman Smith (Carrollton, TX). The Lions record now stands at 9-7.

Next, the Wolverines face the Creekview Mustangs (Carrollton, TX) in a 5A Region II District 9 outing, on Tuesday, March 28. Wakeland will attempt to advance on its 6-6 season record.
