In Friday's league game, the visiting Lumpkin County Indians baseball team scored a tight 8-6 victory over the West Hall Spartans.
The Indians (12-2) will now prepare for their game against Gilmer (Ellijay, GA). The Bobcats go into the 3A Area 7 game with a 6-7 record. In their last game, Gilmer by Dawson County (Dawsonville, GA), 15-0, in a league game.
The Spartans (3-10) will now prepare for their game against Pickens (Jasper, GA). The Dragons go into the 3A Area 7 game with a 13-3 record. In their last game, Pickens tipped Fannin County (Blue Ridge, GA), 12-2, in a non-league game.
