Texas High School Baseball - Runge loses to Yorktown

The Runge Yellowjackets baseball team (Runge, TX), was overwhelmed 20-2 in Friday's non-league outing with the visiting Yorktown Wildcats (Yorktown, TX)

The Wildcats now hold a 6-3 record. They take the field next when they host Three Rivers for a 2A Region IV District 31 outing on Tuesday, March 21. Yorktown will face a Bulldogs team coming off a 16-3 league loss to Woodsboro (Woodsboro, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-6.

Next, the Yellowjackets face the Pettus War Eagles (Pettus, TX) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, April 11. Runge will attempt to advance on its 1-6 season record.
