The crowd at Friday's league bout between the Piedmont Highlanders (Piedmont, CA) and the visiting Encinal Jets (Alameda, CA), saw Piedmont's volleyball squad beat Encinal by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Piedmont upgrades its record to 7-1 on the year. The Highlanders host Tennyson (Hayward, CA) to play the Lancers in a West Alameda County bout on Monday, March 20. The Lancers go into the bout with a record of 2-2. Tennyson lost 3-0 in their recent league bout against Alameda (Alameda, CA)

The Jets now own a 4-5 record. They play next when they travel to Oakdale for a non-league bout on Saturday, March 18. Encinal will play a Mustangs squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to West (Tracy, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 0-7.
