In Friday's non-league test, the visiting El Modena Vanguards lacrosse squad scored a tight 11-8 victory over the Tustin Tillers.
The Vanguards now have a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they host Esperanza for a Crestview test on Thursday, March 23.
In their next game, the Tillers face the Laguna Beach Breakers (Laguna Beach, CA) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, March 28. Tustin will attempt to move on its 2-6 season record. The Breakers come into the test with a 5-2 record after their 12-6 non-league win over Mission Viejo (Mission Viejo, CA).
