In Friday's league test, the host Newbury Park Panthers lacrosse squad scored a tight 9-8 victory over the Oaks Christian Lions.
The Panthers now have a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they host West Ranch for a non-league test on Tuesday, March 21. Newbury Park will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 12-10 non-league loss to Village Christian (Sun Valley, CA). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-5.
In their next game, the Lions face the Chaminade Eagles (West Hills, CA) in a non-league test, on Monday, March 20. Oaks Christian will attempt to move on its 1-4 season record. The Eagles come into the test with a 2-3 record after their 14-10 non-league win over Dos Pueblos (Goleta, CA).
