In Friday's league battle, the visiting Prince Avenue Christian Wolverines soccer squad scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Jasper County Hurricanes.
The Wolverines (8-5) will now prepare for their battle against Social Circle (Social Circle, GA). The Redskins come into the 1A D-I Region 5 battle with a 9-4 record. In their last battle, Social Circle nudged Oglethorpe County (Lexington, GA), 6-1, in a league battle.
The Hurricanes (4-6) will now prepare for their battle against Creekside Christian Academy (McDonough, GA). The Cougars come into the non-league battle with a 3-3 record.
