Lumberton Pirates (Lumberton, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Gray's Creek Bears (Hope Mills, NC), 12-1 in a league test.

With the win, Lumberton upgrades its record to 3-2 on the season. The Pirates travel to Richmond (Rockingham, NC) to battle the Raiders in a non-league test on Wednesday, March 22. The Raiders come into the test with a record of 3-1.

With the defeat, Gray's Creek falls to 3-1 on the season. The Bears host South View (Hope Mills, NC) to battle the Tigers in a non-league test on Tuesday, March 21. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 3-2. South View lost 9-5 in their recent league test against Lumberton (Lumberton, NC)
