Pickens Dragons (Jasper, GA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Lumpkin County Indians (Dahlonega, GA), 4-1 in a league test.

With the win, Pickens upgrades its record to 5-2 on the season. The Dragons travel to Fannin County (Blue Ridge, GA) to battle the Rebels in a test on Tuesday, March 21. The Rebels enter the battle with a record of 5-6. Fannin County lost 16-1 in their recent non-league battle against East Forsyth (Gainesville, GA)

The Indians now possess a 8-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Gilmer for a battle on Monday, March 20. Lumpkin County will play a Bobcats squad coming off a 7-6 league win over Union County (Blairsville, GA). The Bobcats record now stands at 2-5.
