Roosevelt Roughriders (Seattle, WA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Chief Sealth Seahawks (Seattle, WA), 7-4 in a league challenge.

The Roughriders now own a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Inglemoor for a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 23.

With the loss, Chief Sealth moves to 0-2 on the season. The Seahawks host Roosevelt (Seattle, WA) to confront the Roughriders in a bout on Wednesday, April 5. The Roughriders go into the bout with a record of 2-1.
