El Modena Vanguards (Orange, CA) boosters exited the stadium content Friday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the visiting Portola Bulldogs (Irvine, CA), 13-3 in a non-league battle.
The Vanguards now own a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they host San Juan Hills for a non-league battle on Tuesday, April 11.
In their next game, the Bulldogs clash with the Northwood Timberwolves (Irvine, CA) in a Pacific battle, on Wednesday, March 22. Portola will attempt to advance on its 0-7 season record. The Timberwolves come into the battle with a 3-5 record after their 6-5 league win over Woodbridge (Irvine, CA).
