Texas High School Softball - Anson thwarted by Hawley

The Anson Tigers softball team (Anson, TX), was routed 19-7 in Friday's league test with the visiting Hawley Bearcats (Hawley, TX)

Coming up next, the Bearcats clash with the Borden County Coyotes (Gail, TX) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, March 21. Hawley will attempt to improve on its 13-6 season record. The Coyotes come into the test with a 4-2 record after their 6-2 non-league win over Estacado (Lubbock, TX).

The Tigers (9-6) will now prepare for their test against Haskell (Haskell, TX). The Indians come into the 2A Region I District 7 test with a 7-7 record. In their last test, Haskell was routed by Hamlin (Hamlin, TX), 10-6, in a league test.
