North Carolina High School Softball - West Brunswick gets by Ashley

March 17, 2023: Shallotte, NC 28470

The West Brunswick Trojans (Shallotte, NC) softball nipped the visiting Ashley Screaming Eagle (Wilmington, NC), 9-8 in Friday's league bout.

The Trojans (3-5) will now prepare for their bout against Laney (Wilmington, NC). The Buccaneers go into the Mideastern 3A/4A bout with a 3-2 record. In their last bout, Laney held off North Brunswick (Leland, NC), 24-3, in a league bout.

The Screaming Eagle now possess a 2-6 record. They play next when they host New Hanover for a Mideastern 3A/4A bout on Tuesday, March 21.
