The Garfield Bulldogs softball team scored 16 runs and limited the visiting Bell Eagles to 2 in the Bulldogs league triumph on Friday.
With the triumph, Garfield moves its record to 3-5 on the year. The Bulldogs host Faith Baptist (Canoga Park, CA) to clash with the Contenders in a non-league game on Saturday, March 18. The Contenders come into the game with a record of 2-2.
In their next game, the Eagles clash with the Maywood Academy Nighthawks (Maywood, CA) in a non-league game, on Monday, March 20. Bell will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record. The Nighthawks come into the game with a 2-2 record after their 13-3 non-league win over Smidt Tech (Los Angeles, CA).
