Texas High School Softball - Bowie holds off Bloomburg

Spectators at Friday's league match between the Bowie Pirates (Simms, TX) and the host Bloomburg Wildcats (Bloomburg, TX), witnessed Bowie's softball squad tip Bloomburg by a count of 9-7.

The Pirates now sport a 7-10 record. They play next when they travel to Harts Bluff for a 2A Region III District 18 match on Tuesday, March 21. Bowie will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 17-0 league loss to McLeod (McLeod, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-9.

With the loss, Bloomburg moves to 0-3 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Harts Bluff (Mt. Pleasant, TX) to meet the Bulldogs in a 2A Region III District 18 match on Friday, March 24.
