Castilleja Gators (Palo Alto, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Urban Blues (San Francisco, CA), 21-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Gators now own a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they host Urban for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 22.

With the loss, Urban falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Blues host St. Joseph Notre Dame (Alameda, CA) to battle the Pilots in a Bay Counties - East challenge on Tuesday, March 21. The Pilots enter the challenge with a record of 0-2. St. Joseph Notre Dame lost 12-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Saint Mary's (Albany, CA)
