Virginia High School Softball - Grafton knocked off by Poquoson

In Friday's league contest, the Poquoson Islanders (Poquoson, VA) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Grafton Clippers (Yorktown, VA), by a margin of 11-0.

With the triumph, Poquoson moves its record to 2-0 on the year. The Islanders host Jamestown (Williamsburg, VA) to play the Eagles in a Bay Rivers contest on Wednesday, March 22. The Eagles come into the contest with a record of 0-1. Jamestown lost 15-0 in their recent league contest against Grafton (Yorktown, VA)

In their next game, the Clippers play the Great Bridge Wildcats (Chesapeake, VA) in a non-league contest, on Monday, March 20. Grafton will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record.
