Serrano Diamondbacks (Phelan, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Hesperia Scorpions (Hesperia, CA), 12-2 in a league challenge.

The Diamondbacks now own a 4-7 record. They take the field next when they host Burroughs for a Mojave River challenge on Tuesday, March 28.

With the loss, Hesperia falls to 2-11 on the campaign. The Scorpions travel to Adelanto (Adelanto, CA) to battle the Saints in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 24. The Saints enter the challenge with a record of 6-6.
