Texas High School Softball - Pleasanton can't hold off Somerset

March 17, 2023: Somerset, TX 78069

The Somerset Bulldogs softball team scored 12 runs and limited the visiting Pleasanton Eagles to 11 in the Bulldogs league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Somerset improves its record to 4-16 on the year. The Bulldogs host Devine (Devine, TX) to clash with the Warhorses in a 4A Region IV District 29 game on Tuesday, March 21. The Warhorses come into the game with a record of 18-3. Devine won 12-2 in their recent non-league game against Hondo (Hondo, TX)

In their next game, the Eagles clash with the Floresville Tigers (Floresville, TX) in a 4A Region IV District 29 game, on Friday, March 24. Pleasanton will attempt to improve on its 5-10 season record.
