In Monday's non-league game, the host Hackett Hornets baseball team scored a close 5-2 victory over the Atkins Red Devils.
The Hornets (7-1) will now prepare for their game against Subiaco Academy (Subiaco, AR). The Trojans enter the game with a 1-3 record. In their last game, Subiaco Academy by Paris (Paris, AR), 26-3, in a non-league game.
Next, the Red Devils face the St. Joseph Bulldogs (Conway, AR) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, March 18. Atkins will attempt to improve on its 1-5 season record. The Bulldogs enter the game with a 5-1 record after their 12-2 non-league win over Bigelow (Bigelow, AR).
