The Coatesville Red Raiders (Coatesville, PA) baseball trounced the visiting Bishop Shanahan Eagles (Downingtown, PA), 9-0 in Monday's league challenge.

The Red Raiders now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Episcopal Academy for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 21. Coatesville will clash with a Churchmen team coming off a 6-4 non-league loss to Penncrest (Media, PA). The Churchmen record now stands at 1-1.

With the defeat, Bishop Shanahan drops to 0-1 on the year. The Eagles host East (West Chester, PA) to play the Vikings in a Ches-Mont test on Wednesday, March 19. The Vikings go into the test with a record of 1-0. East won 4-2 in their recent league test against Downingtown East (Exton, PA)
