The Cedar Ridge Timberwolves baseball team scored 9 runs and held the visiting Sloan-Hendrix Greyhounds to 3 in the Timberwolves league win on Monday.

The Timberwolves now hold a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Rector for a non-league test on Tuesday, March 18. Cedar Ridge will play a Cougars team coming off a 17-2 non-league loss to Armorel (Armorel, AR). The Cougars record now stands at 1-2.

With the defeat, Sloan-Hendrix drops to 5-3 on the year. The Greyhounds travel to Tuckerman (Tuckerman, AR) to play the Bulldogs in a 2A Region 2 test on Thursday, March 20. The Bulldogs go into the test with a record of 1-0. Tuckerman won 6-0 in their recent league test against Marshall (Marshall, AR)
