In Monday's non-league game, the host Central Holmes Christian Trojans baseball team scored a nice 15-0 victory over the Leake County Gators.
The Trojans (3-6) will now prepare for their game against Calhoun Academy (Calhoun City, MS). The Cougars enter the non-league game with a 3-6 record. In their last game, Calhoun Academy was overwhelmed by Regents (Oxford, MS), 10-5, in a non-league game.
Next, the Gators face the Stringer Red Devils (Stringer, MS) in a 1A Region 7 game, on Tuesday, March 25. Leake County will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record.
