In Monday's league bout, the Christian County Colonels (Hopkinsville, KY) baseball squad overwhelmed the visiting Fort Campbell Falcons (Fort Campbell, KY), by a tally of 10-0.
Next up, the Colonels encounter the McCracken County Mustangs (Paducah, KY) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, March 18. Christian County will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record.
The Falcons (0-1) will now prepare for their bout against University Heights (Hopkinsville, KY). The Blazers enter the District 8 bout with a 2-0 record. In their last bout, University Heights overcame Franklin-Simpson (Franklin, KY), 5-1, in a non-league bout.
