The First Baptist Saints baseball team scored 15 runs and held the host Christian Heritage Sentinels to 0 in the Saints non-league win on Monday.
The Saints now hold a 7-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Non Varsity Opponent for a non-league test on Tuesday, March 18. First Baptist will play a team coming off a 19-8 non-league loss to Avalon (Avalon, TX). The record now stands at 20-53.
With the defeat, Christian Heritage drops to 2-7 on the year. The Sentinels host Poetry Community Christian (Poetry, TX) to play the Pioneer in a test on Friday, March 21. The Pioneer go into the test with a record of 1-1. Poetry Community Christian lost 10-5 in their recent non-league battle against Bishop Gorman (Tyler, TX)
