The Marist War Eagles baseball team scored 7 runs and held the host Clarkston Angoras to 0 in the War Eagles league win on Monday.
The War Eagles now hold a 10-4 record. They take the field next when they host Parkview for a non-league test on Tuesday, March 18. Marist will play a Panthers team coming off a 10-4 league win over Norcross (Norcross, GA). The Panthers record now stands at 10-3.
With the defeat, Clarkston drops to 0-7 on the year. The Angoras travel to Southwest DeKalb (Decatur, GA) to play the Panthers in a AAAA Region 5 test on Friday, March 21. The Panthers go into the test with a record of 7-9. Southwest DeKalb lost 5-2 in their recent league test against North Springs (Atlanta, GA)
