The crowd at Monday's league battle between the Viola Longhorns (Viola, AR) and the visiting Concord Pirates (Concord, AR), saw Viola's baseball team gain a win over Concord by a tally of 10-4.

The Longhorns (3-1) will now prepare for their battle against Norfork (Norfork, AR). The Panthers enter the 1A Region 2 battle with a 6-3 record. In their last battle, Norfork held off Rural Special (Fox, AR), 7-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Pirates face the Rose Bud Ramblers (Rose Bud, AR) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, March 20. Concord will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Ramblers enter the battle with a 7-3 record after their 20-5 non-league win over Augusta (Augusta, AR).
